Our buckwheat is grown by us, but the steaming and husking are done by a collaborative partner. To prepare delicious buckwheat, take 1 cup of buckwheat and 2 cups of water. Rinse the buckwheat before cooking, put it in a pot, add water, and bring to a simmer over low heat. Add a little salt and let it cook until all the water is absorbed. Typically, this takes about 15 minutes. Then remove from heat and let it "rest" for another 5-10 minutes. Serve with your favorite sauce and other toppings.
